It is also complimented with new functionality. Cellular Expert 3.1 now runs on ArcGIS 9.0 and contains such new functions as signal reflection analysis, neighborhood antennas’ analysis, better calibration performance, ITU geoclimate data, improvements in interference and protection as well as diversity analysis, CDMA toolbox with many additional functions and many others. On the other hand, the newest and industry leading platform ArcGIS 9.0 also brings its great contribution to Cellular Expert’s 3.1 functionality list. For Transmition Networks. Cellular Expert Radio Links 3.1 now is better than it used to be. Responding to the industry demand, a new tool for planning passive repeaters has been developed for involving this data into the sites planning process. Also, new ITU geoclimate data was imported and sensible improvements for interference and protection as well as diversity analysis were done. For Cellular Networks. Now the calibration process is much simpler and may be simultaneously performed from the different sites. This is due to improvements made for drive tests and propagation models calibration. As the result, models are much more precise than they used to be after the ordinary calibration.
